PLAST09
At Plast 2009, Plasmac teamed up with Italian companies Frigosystem (www.frigosystem.it) and Syncro (www.syncro.st) exhibiting as 'The Extrusion Lounge'.
This allowed all three non-competitive companies to benefit not only from cost savings, but also the sharing of customer contacts, agents and sales leads.

PLASMAC COMMISSIONS LARGE SYSTEMS Having historically been known for its expertise in smaller machines, Plasmac have recently completed the installation of a 600 kg/hr Integra 100 Hydrocool system in a South American company to recycle film waste from their Polyethylene production plant.

A second large system (1500#/hr – 700kg/hr) line is currently being commissioned in North America. The Integra 120 VENTED Hydrocool unit was purchased to recycle materials ranging from thin dry cleaning film through to thick heavily printed building film.

In the current economic times, Plasmac have received orders from a large Italian OEM for the supply of Alpha 70 and Alpha 80 Hydrocool systems to recycle edge trims in line plus off specification rolls of multi-layer films.
In addition, a major multinational, USA based company has ordered an Omega 60 to go in line with its existing 3 layer high speed cast film line.

INTERPLASTICA2009
Following this year’s annual plastics exhibition in Moscow Plasmac are now the market leaders for recycling systems in the Moscow region, having sold over 20 machines in the last four years.

Paketti, a producer of HD and LD bags and film on the roll, claimed that the Alpha 60 purchased eight months ago was paid for within four months of the machine being commissioned! Chief Technologist, Mr Doronkin explained, “The machine is easy to install and operate, allowing us to recycle all of our waste within hours of it being generated. The granule quality has allowed us to use higher percentages of reclaim in our film production lines, without us seeing any reduction in the physical or optical characteristics of the film”.
